Rubika Dilaika: I have never shied away from taking risks in my career.


Rubina Dilaik became a household name when she played Soumya, a transgender in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. The show which also stars Vivian Dsena is still going strong in the TRP charts.

Talking about the different types of roles that she takes up, Rubina stated to a leading daily, "For me, the content and the character that I play are the two most important factors. I have never shied away from taking risks in my career, and I would not do that in the future either. I want to continue experimenting, or else there will be no growth."


Earlier, when Rubina was asked about her thoughts on Women's Day and what message she would like to give, the actor told Pinkvilla, "All I want to say is this message is especially for the men, please respect and empower the woman in your family, in your friend circle, around you because a woman is the backbone of the family. She is the centripetal driving force and if you educate her if you empower her, if you support her, you will see your family growing and evolving and henceforth the society and our nation at a large.



On the personal front, Rubina is currently dating Abhinav Shukla for three years now and the couple is still going strong.
